A Colorful Metroidvania Adventure
Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland takes the retro NES-era platformer gameplay of Capcom and Nintendo favorites and brings it to a vast, non-linear world that has been lovingly hand-animated frame-by-frame. You’ll explore as you collect new ability-granting toys and PJs, discover enchanting lands inspired by Winsor McCay’s Little Nemo comics, and encounter a colorful cast of characters — all through the nostalgic lens of an ‘80s/’90s kid.

Upgrade your PJs
While you're awake in Nemo's bedroom, you can change out which pajamas you're wearing using the dresser. Each pair will empower your toys and abilities in different ways as well as change Nemo's appearance.
Find new Ability-granting Toys
In Slumberland all of Nemo’s favorite toys bestow new abilities! Use them throughout your adventure to fend off enemies, traverse hazards and open new pathways to different zones.
Be careful or you'll wake up!
If you take too much damage, you'll wake up back in Nemo's bedroom. You can hop in bed and fall asleep to get right back to Slumberland at the last bed you visited.

Key Features:
Unique gameplay: Copy and paste textures to radically transform the game world. Scan textures from the environment and throw it back into the world. The whole game world is your inventory, and your canvas.
Unique look: All characters, textures, Ui etc. are drawn by hand. The main character Ruffy alone has over 600 drawings. This game is packed with thousands of handdrawn assets that took over seven years of work. Ruffy and the Riverside feels like a living cartoon.
Epic Story and scenic cutscenes: The game has a deep and twistful story with over 60.000 words of dialogue – thats half of Tolkiens „The Hobbit“. Scenic cutscenes let you dive even deeper into the handdrawn world.
Customizing: With the ingame drawing tool, you can draw your own textures and use them ingame. That way the world looks even more like you imagine it.
Playtime: 20 hours main story, 5 hours of sidequests, unlimited time to customize the game world with self drawn textures.
